Very poor design
It puts divots into the "tape" that is stuck to the aluminum channel that acts as its base. The suction cup loses grip after a few minutes. It's just a really bad design, overall. I guess I'll look at the wooden built ones, or fashion my own from a slab of raw lumber. Look elsewhere, you can do much better than this.

I purchased this paracord jig from Acid Tactical & am pleased w/purchase. Sturdy construction, metal towers, calibrated ‘ruler’ or base is hard ‘plastic’. Suction cup on bottom to adhere to metal surfaces. Looked @ a # of paracord jigs & liked this the best. Look forward to making bracelets, etc.
