Cixin Liu's style of writing brings back eches of othe SF greats.
I started wiht the short stories - TheWandering Earth. Cixin Liu writes in a style and with the technical sophistication that reminds me of a cross between Arthur C. Clarke and Philip Jose Farmer.

Must read, especially if you studied Chinese
Spectacular series. I studied Mandarin in college long ago during the Mao era. Reading this brings back old memories and the story is just mind boggling.

Great series
Bought this series for my husband after watching the series on line. My husband has a degree in physics and this sci-fi series really pulled him in. As with any good genre, it always comes back to the characters and they were intriguing and complex. A totally satisfying read.

Might as well buy the books separately
Well, these are a bit expensive considering that they are not a boxed set, but just four large paperback books. It would have been a bit less expensive to buy these books separately in the first place, the seeming box in the picture does not exist. Otherwise, the books appear to be in fine condition, and they arrived in a fairly good time frame.

Hard to describe other the"good"
First saw the series reviewed on Quinn's Ideas. Then watched season one on Netflix and realized I needed to have them. Been good reading.

Exactly as expected, read through these all within a week.
