Instead of using a normal wick I decided to use these and loved it. They do feel a little cheap and burn quickly if your candle is not supported by a glass holder.I made my first without a glass holder and the candle only lasted 2/3 hour burn time. Second time I melted the wax in an old glass jar and worked perfectly! The candle lasted a few days with this wick. Not a loud crackling sound but there is a slight one.It was easy for the wick to stay in place!Totally recommend this product if your new to this!

Hours of fun candles making. Put 2 together for the crackling sound. Be carful making smaller candles as due to the width of the wood wicks they tend to melt the wax a bit more in small glass jars and they can get quite hot. But not a huge problem.

I just love the crackle from wooden wicks. These are great.

I purchased these wood wicks thinking they'd be similar to other I bought in the past, but unfortunately they are kind of soft wood and they burn a very soft flame as a consequence which doesn't allow the candle to create a full melt pool!

This is my 3rd time ordering, initially I have to say it took 8 weeks to arrive. I decided to give it a second chance and it was delivered within 2 days much better. I use two together as they are thin, but for me it's better to use two as it gives my candles a lovely flicker. Unfortunately it means that I have more metal connectors than wicks. If the company does wood wick only I would order this way to.

I have used wood wicks previously and ordered these. They are really a bad burning wick and no crackle. Something is not right with these as I tried them with same wax and container and do not burn well at all. I sent them back.
