Awesome accessory
This is an amazing product that allows you to use the full grill space of your kettle when doing low and slow. Most other setups limit you to using half of your grill. Really does turn the kettle into a Kamado style cooker. I absolutely love this thing. I live in Bermuda and shipped it all the way here and it was worth every penny of the extra shipping cost.Only drawback is that you can’t easily add charcoal during a cook if you are using the entire space. I use the minion method and make sure that I have more than enough coals then just save the unlit coals when I am done. I mainly use it for low and slow. The stainless steel grates that come with this are heavy duty and much better than the standard Weber grates. The ceramic plates are quality also. Make sure you allow them to heat up with the grill rather than putting them directly on a rip roaring fire and they should last a long time. I use a 17” pizza pan as a drip tray to help preserve them. This is a tool that will make your kettle a versatile beast. You won’t regret your purchase.

Best accessory I have for my kettle
Love this thing, I can now cook 5 racks of baby backs with no problems. Gives me a lot more room for indirect cooking. The grill grates are really heavy duty for direct cooking, the original grates look like they were made of coat hanger wire compared to these. The pizza stones are thick and heavy duty really well made. I've cooked pizza chicken and ribs so far all came out great! A couple thing they could do better;1) The base rack which sits on the original grill grate tabs, has 2 tangs that line up with these tabs to keep everything securely in place which works well. My complaint which is minor is the placement of the tangs on the base ring causes the grate and the pizza stones to line up diagonally to the kettle placement in my cart. I'm OCD and would like them to line up properly. No big deal though.2) I'd like to see Aura include some little tool to grab the grates and pick up the stone for when you need to add charcoal for long cooks. Again minor, but it would be a nice addition.Other than that the Kettle Zone is amazing, I like it much better than the slow n sear.

I love the Aura Kettle Zone
I absolutely love the Aura Kettle Zone Cooking system. This is my second one. I bought a second Weber kettle and wanted to set it up the same way. The older one is still in service and going strong. The grates and base ring are very heavy duty stainless steel. The ceramic heat deflectors are heavy duty as well. Just don't drop them as they are ceramic and can chip or break although I have not had any problems with them. The system allows for a lot of cooking flexibility. You can cook indirect kamado style using both deflectors, split direct and indirect using 1 deflector or direct using no deflectors. It fits perfectly as it is designed for the Weber 22 inch kettle. No mod needed to make it fit. I do put an 18 pizza pan wrapped in aluminum foil on top of the heat deflectors when cooking indirect to make cleanup easier. I have used Kettle Zone to make my kettle grill into a pretty good smoker. Both of mine arrived well packaged with no damage to any parts. I would not cook without it.

Effectively turned my Weber into a Kamado smoker
Only 4 stars because it came with one of the plates chipped, but it doesn’t affect how well it works so not a huge deal. This works excellent. Turn your Weber kettle into a Kamado-style smoker, allowing you to build a fire with a large pile of lump charcoal beneath the plates, just like a Kamado. Worked excellent.Word of caution: If the ceramic plates are very cold from sitting outside in cold weather, in the garage or shed, then if you put the cold plate in the grill after bringing it up to temperature it will significantly reduce the temperature of the grill until the plates heat up. This adds a lot of time (about a half hour or more). To overcome this, keep the plates near the fire and in the grill the whole time while bringing the grill up to temp to avoid lost time.I don’t expect this to be as big of a hurdle during the warm months.

LOVE THE KETTLE ZONE
I have used this dozens of times in different configurations since my purchase in February of 2023. I have used the deflector plates as a whole unit and smoked brisket and pull pork(1 and 2 at a time) both at 250 and at 275. I really love the heavy duty grate for the cooking surface as well. I am one that grills or BBQ's at least 2 times a week and usually closer to 3 or 4. When I put this on my Weber I haven't taken it off for the most part. The couple of things that I did find that some need to be aware of; One, if you use accessories like the warmer racks you need to use your original grate. This one sits flush with the top edge of the Weber and that makes it too tall for an extra rack (not a problem though). Two, make sure you do not lite too much charcoal if you low n slow. It will come up to temp regardless and your coal will last longer without adding. Buy it you won't regret best bang for your buck!

Delivered broken twice.
Cooks great, but twice delivered with one ceramic plate broken in half. I needed 1 plate that day for party and couldn't wait on 3rd shipment so kept it.

High Quality Stainless Steel
Adds tremendous versatility to your kettle grill. I have an SnS system (basket + drip pan) which I use with the Aura grates (minus the ceramic deflectors) to do reverse-sear steaks. The heat deflectors are great for indirect grilling/smoking, and are high quality. Mine arrived in perfect condition and I have had no issues with cracking after 18 months of using them - other reviewers have reported issues, likely due to mishandling and not avoiding sharp temperature changes (grilling during wintertime and placing a cold deflector on a hot grill without bring it up to room temperature first, or building super-hot fires for searing and placing the deflector over those, instead of using them over a low-and-slow fire for longer cooks). Of note - I live on the Gulf Coast where corrosion from salt air is a huge issue, and these grill grates, which have been outside for a year and a half, have shown absolutely zero indication of corrosion. This , by itself, warrants 5 stars IMO.
