I anticipate the day that my husband and I return to visit Italy. We travel at least twice a year and to this day Italy has remained my favorite place, not just to visit but to be. The people, the food, the cities and countryside, the tradition and the beauty that I experienced there has and will remain with me always. My yearning to experience those things again was why I chose AN ITALIAN JOURNEY in hopes that I would renew the feelings I had when in Italy. I am not disappointed to say the least. The story offered me even more than I could've hoped and has rekindled my yearnings to return to Italy again. This book offers not only an interesting story but provides insight for living intentionally well.

His descriptions of people and places are rich and full of local color. This book makes traveling to Tuscany to pick olives the old fashioned way in November quite appealing.

I've been to Italy three times. Only once to Tuscany where we rented a villa in Bagna de Lucca. This book makes me want to plan another trip to the Tuscany region and stay with an Italian family.
