The media could not be loaded. Loads more fun than I expected. I added 4 wheel steering and metal gears and the only maintenance so far has been tightening a few screws and I drive it daily! I also found the tire grip to be much better with the foam inserts removed. Battery life using 2 S lipo has been 1 1/2 hours or more (Excellent) Performance equal or better than more expensive competitors crawlers!! I own several brands of RC buggies and trucks and the Redcat Everest 10 crawler is my favorite. Beginner or expert RC enthusiast you will love this truck performance and amazing price. This is a great entry level 1/10 scale RC Crawler. If you're just getting into rock crawling RC trucks/buggies, this is a great place to start. You only need to make one modification to improve its crawling ability, and that is, remove the tire inserts. It'll make the tires much softer allowing them to grip terrain much better. Especially on rock. All in all, it's a fun model to play with. And very reasonably priced. Also, there are tons of upgrades you can do it. And several upgrade parts you can get for it are in the manual!

Nothing to hate about this crawler. Great price, STURDY truck that takes a beating. Waterproof parts. Metal frame and other key components. Oil filled shocks. You can add additional bodies by just side mounting them. I own 3 of these and prefer them over my much more expensive Wraith.

awesome starter for anyone thinking of getting into RC crawlers. Ready to run, right out of the box. Comes with the battery and charger...only batteries needed are for the controller. There are many aftermarket parts to choose from which makes it easily customizable. Battery run time is decent. Durability has been tested with some challenging runs and falls... its held up pretty well. Water proofing has held up as well.The truck stands pretty high so it does tend to tip over at certain angles. Speed wise, it's fairly slow on a nimh but with a 2s or 3s lipo it picks up speed. If you're looking for a "basher" this is not the one.this was one of those "stuck in the house and in the house bored" purchases that turned out fun. Two weeks in and it got modified.

But the only thing is it took 2 weeks for it to come. And a new motor is a good idea like axial 27T.

Bought one of these about three years ago. No problems and the battery lasts for hours. It’s a great toy for kids or adults and a good way for younger kids to learn. I highly recommend a crawler as a starter unit rather than a faster car for kids. Watching a four year old work out approach angles is highly entertaining.

**Update**Just like previous reviewer's noted my steering arm broke after a 2 hrs of rock climbing. Not a big deal and I still love this crawler but rather a heads up to buy a spare servo arm to have on hand. I don't think this is a product defect either but the result of hard crawling***PROS:-Great value for overall entry level crawler-nice adjustable controller-battery lasts forever, I've yet to finish it but should last 45m-1hr.-comes with battery and charger-out of the box it's ready to run-LIPO ready up to 3sThis crawler is very capable and can climb over huge logs without an issue. It's unstoppable.CONS or improvements:-You will want to upgrade tires for any serious crawling-servo is decent but easy to upgrade if you want better-plastic lockers are prone to failure. metal upgrades available-make sure to lubricate both diffs with some teflon dry lube or similar
