A little tough to work with, but works just fine.
I had a tough time getting some half inch vinyl tubing to fit over the barbs. In the end, I wound up sanding the barbs off and used small worm clamps to seal it up. Fits on 1/2 inch PVC pipe perfectly and the clamps do a great job of sealing the tubing against the fitting. I made it work, so I'm happy with them.

It connected so smoothly, I almost heard a choir of angels sing as the pieces joined.But don’t just take my word for it—this coupling passed every rigorous test I threw at it. It didn’t work as a cup holder, and it didn’t spin well like a fidget spinner, but when it comes to coupling, this little guy is in a league of its own.In summary, if you’re serious about your PVC connections (and let’s be honest, who isn’t?), this is the coupling for you. 10/10 would spear again.PS. it is a really tight fit. if you need a dry fit this probably is not coming back out easy

Needed for irrigation system
I have built an irrigation system useing 2” hose and PVC components, it works great and these are a good interface between the PVC and the hose. I would suggest using 2 hose clamps per connection because I have had the hose blown off by the water pressure.
