Dryer Switch Replacement - Easy peasy, but watch a YouTube video first
Perfect replacement switch, exactly the same as the original. Took 10 minutes to replace. We searched for 'Maytag Centennial Dryer switch replacement video'. Seriously easy to do. The hardest part was unplugging the switch. The connector has a locking tab but you'll figure it out. If you even suspect this is the problem, watch a couple videos and replace it. We got estimates from repair shops - anywhere from $150 to $225...Its only been a few days but its working perfectly...

I have a Roper dryer, model # RES7646KQ2 and initially just searched for that model number, but the door switches that were listed all had about a week or 10 days before they could be delivered. Fortunately, those listings also showed the Whirlpool part number 3406107, and searching for that came up with a lot more options, including this one which was delivered in less than a day. Installation was easy and the switch works great.
