Not for beginners
My second Dumas model and I liked this one very much. That being said, this is not a beginners model. It is very large, and some parts are tricky. This type of model takes commitment. If you are making her rc (and why wouldn't you) then bear in mind there is no running hardware, not even rudders. Realistically it takes at least another 200 dollars in running hardware like motors, esc, batteries, servo, and of course radio and receiver if you dont have those already. Then there's glue, paint, sandpaper, fiberglass, resin, bondo, etc. I have over 550 dollars in mine and I already had radio, receiver and servo so as you can see this is not for the timid. But if you're committed, she's one heck of a beautiful boat. Bon voyage!
