Got this shirt for my husband. It's a high quality shirt, really soft. And it's true to color! I got the lemon colored shirt and it's exactly as pictured. It's rare for me to order a plain shirt online and have it arrive the color I expect and I'm very pleased about this.

I chose medium based on what fit me in the past with other brands but this one was too small. I ended up giving it to me teenage son. Very good quality material.

I bought six of these shirts. Two shipped from Amazon, and the rest shipped from "shopblueco". All six appear to be legitimate American Apparel "2001" shirts, and all six have tags. They fit exactly like the American Apparel 2001 shirts that I've had for years.Speaking of which, AA has, by far, the most consistent fit of any t-shirts I've bought in decades, these shirts fit exactly the same as the shirt I have from around 2006. Compare that to the tees I've bought from Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Mossimo, and Eddie Bauer, where every order -- and even different shirts within the same order -- have fit differently! American Apparel's quality control seems to be the best in the business. I assume this is because other brands don't actually manufacture anything, and they switch suppliers constantly, whereas AA has complete control of the entire manufacturing process.As always, remember that AA tees run more snug than most brands. However, they're probably the longest standard size tees I've found. At 6'2" 190 Lbs, a size large is *just* long enough.

Avoid this brand. None of the shirts are long enough and they only get wider with each size up. It used to be that American Apparel fit exactly as a normal body would expect; now they fit and look completely wrong. 0 star rating.

These shirts used to cost 3x this price. Great fit in the arms and chest.

Got mine from "Nayked Apparel" so can approve they are legit to begin with. Good. After washing? not so good. I used machine 30c (which is also referred as "cold", if you go with totally cold, the cleaning suffers). Most shirts shrunk a bit, but it wasn't consistent. One of them I can't wear anymore. One of them (on arrival) had a loose seam. The shop didn't give a crap about me so fixed it myself. Overall this is not the quality that Threadless once used when they utilized this AA tee. After a long time search, I don't think you can find a quality tee as good as once possible. I had better experience with FOTL heavy-cotton shirts, but they are proving a little hard to get. Lots of fakes out there, including many on Amazon.

I’m 6’4” and the length fit my torso well. Material is good and the cut is nice. Not too boxy or loose toward waist. Will likely buy more
