This will definitely seal jars
These oxygen absorbers work well. I used these to seal some dry pasta and it worked like a charm with only needing 1 packet for my half gallon jars.

good product.
These don't store well once you open the package, you pretty much have to use them all at once and lock them all away. 4 stars for not shipping them in smaller packages. No complaints about the absorbers themselves.Face it, you're either a survivalist or a gun owner, so you shouldn't have much trouble building up enough packages to use all 20.

Good price and Work
We looked around for oxygen absorbers and found Amazon's price and quality to be as good or better than other sites. They arrived on time and more importantly they work. We usually place one or two extra in our containers just to be safe and try to use all of them at once. We have stored the extras in a small glass jar with tight fitting lid until we were stocking additional items but I would recommend using the whole package once opened. Be sure the little red tablet is "RED" and not blue... if it's blue, simply contact amazon and send them back as they possibly have an air leak or have been on the shelf too long. Amazon has always been great to take care of use before and after the sale if we encounter any problems.

They work.
I only bought one bag to see if they worked. I sealed all 20 of them into canning jars with salt, sugar, oats, pasta, and within an hour you could hear the lids popping -indicating the air was being sucked out, and now the lids on all the jars are sucked in. Ya, it seems overkill to use 300cc packets instead of 100cc, but I read it's okay. Every jar worked like it was supposed to. I will be buying more now.

Pathetic
I put oat groats in a dozen 1 gallon mylar bags. I put sea salt in eight 1 gallon mylar bags. I dropped in 1 each of these oxygen absorbers at the same time and sealed all twenty bags in under eight minutes. After 72 hours, nothing. I slit open the tops of each of the bags and dropped in two of these absorbers per bag and sealed them again. After 72 hours only eight bags out of twenty absorbed the oxygen properly.I slit open the bags where the oxygen absorbers did not work. I put the grain and sea salt in 1 gallon Food Saver poly bags and used the Food Saver to suck the air out and seal the bags. I then put the poly bags in 12 new mylar bags and sucked the air out with the Food Saver and sealed them. These oxygen absorbers are pieces of crap that are hit or miss. Buy these oxygen absorbers at your own risk. They are not worth the price, the hassles, and waste of mylar bags They are a complete waste of money and Amazon should stop selling them. The Food Saver polybags sealed up as hard as a brick - they were not at all pliable after sealing. I discovered I had to flatten out the contents before sealing the Food Saver poly bags so they would stack better in the storage bins. They are also more cost effective than these useless oxygen absorbers.

Used in plactic bottles.
Used these in plactic coke bottles (2L) with beans, rice, and salt. They sucked all the all out of the bottles. Im hoping these will last a long time. I still have a lot left over so i have to find other things that i can store.

O2 Absorbers
These were delivered before the stated date and have proven to be excellent for food storage. The only issue is that once the bag of with the absorbers they must all be used or stored in airtight containers. This isn't a big issue since I have been able to store the absorbers in a canning jar and removing the air out with my vacuum sealer. I will buy more of these definitely!
