All natural cough syrup
I learned about this product from my neighbor who is from China. She brought me some from China. It’s a very old time tested all natural product that’s honey and herbs. It’s thick and coats your throat and is soothing. I use it for my grandkids when they have a cough. It tastes good too.

Soothes the throat
As someone who does a lot of public speaking, my voice goes through it a lot. This helps my throat when it feels worn out. Would 100% recommend for that reason alone. I've never tried it for illness related sore throats yet mostly cause I never get sick.

Loaded with Sugar...
Normally I read labels very carefully, but, even with my reading glasses, the label information on the image shown on this sales page was crowded and tiny. "Sugar: 11g" didn't show up clearly so I didn't see it when I ordered. I only noticed that "Sugar" was included in the "Other Ingredients" and assumed it would be a small amount to mask the taste of the herbs. Remember, in the U.S., ingredients must be listed based on the amount of each ingredient, with the highest content amounts listed first. So I'll admit to not paying enough attention. However, after only two doses I'm returning it. The syrup is thick and loaded with sugar. I always brush my teeth after ingesting anything with sugar, but even though you are swallowing this syrup, it still travels to your mouth and coats the tooth enamel and is hard to brush off. I protect my teeth so that's one reason I won't use it. The purpose of medicine is to heal - I don't want or need my medicine to be candy! Especially natural medicine. (And by the way, I think I had noticed this company makes lozenges as well - those of you who also care about your teeth and gums - beware). So related to the sugar content is the taste. I couldn't stand it. It's just too sweet. But then, I eat natural foods and don't eat junk food and candy. A natural herbal cough and throat syrup could easily be lightly sweetened with many other options: stevia, agave, monk fruit, erythritol, etc. But 11 grams of sugar is defeating the whole purpose of a natural remedy and doesn't benefit healing in my opinion. As for effectiveness, there was no benefit for me. But then I didn't have a cough and I'm guessing this is more of a cough syrup than throat remedy. I developed a sore throat from a long recording session (speaking, not singing) and I had ordered other products from Amazon that were better suited to me.My two thousand cents :)

Great thing to add to boba tea
This is our old trusted remedy for sore throat and cough. We have found that it is great to make Boba tea with this. Using it to sweeten the tea, it gives the traditional milk tea a minty flavor.Great seller. We have received the product in great condition.
