I was so happily surprised when this was delivered. I am a woman who is using this kit and it is so beautiful. It has 3 nail clippers (toenail and 2 fingernail - one is slanted and perfect for hangnails. The case is a hard case, however, it is foam lined a very pleasant to touch. It's a very pretty soft brown. The scissors are sharp and the perfect size. It even has a little tool you can use to clean your ears (carefully I might add but so useful if you run out of Q-tips). All the manicure pieces are gold stainless steel. You would never know that they weren't actually solid gold they are so pretty. This is the prettiest and most useful manicure kit I have ever owned. I won't be using it for travel, I use it for my weekly manicure.

Was not sure it would be as sharp as the one I was originally looking for, but, as it turns out, the items in the set are very nicely made and arrived in good time. The case is lovely and well made.

This is one fancy and well made product. It looks expensive with its gold color but more important it is well made to exact standards.I closely inspected the clippers and they are perfectly aligned and definiately sharp. The other utensils serve their intended purposes well.I especially like the ear cleaning tool but not had need for it yet but shows much forethought to be complete. Believe will use the clippers and safety sissors and tweezers and file alot. There should be no concerns with any of these pieces as others also hightly rated and carries a lifetime warrenty. I am very satisfied and the price reflects the quality and backing of the company !

Looks nice; however, isn’t worth $39.00. The file doesn’t work that well, difficult to remove items from the straps, and only time will tell if the clippers will last. I bought this set of nail clippers in the winter of 2016 when I was tired of borrowing my moms or one of my friends nail clippers. Thought it was time for me to grow up and become an adult. It is now 2020 and I just wanted to share my experience. I’ve been very happy with this purchase. I’ll be honest as a guy, I only use the nail clippers and scissors the most and rarely use the other tools. All the tools have a nice feel when using them and seems to be high quality as nothing has broken or worn out. It’s definitely worth getting and stashing in your toiletry bag for when you need it.

As a youth, I was given a good Solingen manicure kit by a favorite aunt; every time I used the set for the next 40 years I was reminded of her. It made me realize that this is the best kind of gift you can give someone you care about -- something they will need and use for a long time. Fast forward to the present, with the old German clippers now dull and the case falling apart, I needed a new nail-grooming kit. Following due diligence I chose the Three Sevens set and I am delighted with it. The case and the components are first class -- the two clippers the best I've ever used. A perfect gift for my grandkids as they reach college age, a time when they will need and can appreciate a top-quality manicure kit. This is a set that will last a lifetime.

I'm leaving a 1 star review because I messaged by the seller. They offered me a free "nail clipper set" if I reviewed the item and left seller feedback. It made me realize that the positive reviews I saw here were probably coerced. So, be warned.About the actual item: The set gets 3-4 stars. It seems like it's decent quality but certainly not worth the $40 I paid. The case is ok, it's not easy to remove the items without putting what feels like a lot of stress on the straps. It all seems like its made to look nice and not made to be a practical thing you use often.edit: The seller contacted me. they said:"If you read our message again, you will find that we didn't enforce any positive product reviews from our buyers. never. ever. only we asked, if buyers leave your actual reviews about the product regardless positive or negative, we offered a gift as our goodwill. if you can check our other items, there are negative reviews. It doesn't matter because those are actual reviews from our customers."This is a fair point, yet my review was not based on them asking for a positive review. I'm upset that they are offering compensation for reviews. Period. I'm sure there are many people reading this who won't think there's anything wrong with what the seller has done. That's completely valid. They're welcome to ignore this review. My opinion, however, has not changed.

It was a gift, so I did not actually use it. It did come in a nice case however, and was very heavy duty. Appears to be very well made.
