I changed my mind on this after reading about the XJ axis puzzle. First I liked the Windmill cube puzzle more, but after looking up info on the XJ axis puzzle, I realized it is simply a different kind of cube than a 3x3 (the Windmill is simply a 3x3 cut interestingly, but you solve it pretty much like a 3x3). However the XJ is much different, requiring a different strategy than the usual 3x3. Good fun!

My brother solves them like they're nothing but he says they are a great quality

These seem like they're really well-built and generally turn pretty smoothly when they actually turn. The Windmill is perfectly fine in this regard, but the Axis V2 bandages like crazy. This isn't so much a problem with the overall manufacturing quality as it is with the design of the puzzle itself. I'm sure it will be fun once I've figured it out and can solve it, but the bandaging gets really frustrating as you're just learning the cube.

Great gift

My 9 yr old son bought this with his own money. He loves them, and I love that they challenge his thinking. The pieces come apart if you try to move them in a direction that doesn't work, but they can be inserted back in place fairly easily. The whole thing came apart at one point, but I enjoyed the puzzle of putting it back together.

My stepson loves these and the more awkward they are the better. The packaging was very nice and it looked high quality however I didn’t spend that much for these. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it!

It's cool but one piece keeps popping out. Not sure anyone can put it together.

Great gift for my grandsons collection of cubes. These will keep him busy for awhile.
