Sprecher Rootbeer Soda

I am a big Root Beer fan, and picky about the brand. I was buying this soda at the store as it is my favorite Root Beer. I use this syrup with RO water and a DrinkMate Carbonator. The result it that it tastes exactly like the bottled soda from the store while saving me lots of money. Cost of making my own = approximately 50% of store bought. I will be buying more.

Great with sodastream seltzer. I make a glass at a time and usually use only half as much syrup as the prescribed ratio since I prefer my drinks with less sugar and you still get a nice root beer flavor. I also tried it with shaved ice mixing it with 1 part syrup to 3 parts milk (or non-dairy alternative) and it was great.

Product tasted great

I ordered this root beer syrup after trying several much more expensive syrups which totally failed to convince me that they were indeed root beer. This one suits my taste perfectly.

For quality, everyday Rootbeer you can't go wrong with this syrup. Very good.For a more artisan experience, try Portland Syrups. I keep both on hand.

I grew up drinking Sprecher’s. I’ve drank every Root Beer and Sarsaparilla that i can get my hands on and Sprecher’s is always on top.But this syrup just misses the mark… I can taste a hint of it in there but something is holding it back.

This stuff was triple the price of others online but it tastes great.

We bought this to flavor soda. I had to buy the pumps separately, otherwise you end up with a mess. Also, it required quite a bit of product added to get a decent root beer flavor. It tastes fine, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again.
