Quality
Product came in a tin with a pull tab, product is fresh. Product is less bitter than matcha which costs 1/3rd the price and appears to be made of high quality soft leaves, not the veins or stems and so appears and tastes ceremonial grade. You may get 15 or more cups of tea out of this. This product appears to be for people who specifically want the highest grade matcha available. With this you get what you pay for, the healthiest choice.Would get this again to treat myself something sustainable made from leaves, not seeds or flowering reproductive parts. Again you are paying for the highest quality leaf material, all the rest is discarded where as "consumer - grade" matcha will just use stem and whole leaf, without consideration, resulting in a different product and different taste.Currently avoiding seeds and nuts which grow into life when you don't munch them or turn them into oils for salads. Also avoiding stems and other parts of plants which are required for plants to live generally. This fits into a hyper-strict diet where as normal matcha does not. This product is way less bitter than consumer grade matchas

Good matcha if new to it all.
Nice smooth earthy/grassy taste with a floral tasting finish that is slightly sweet. I ordered this and made it with 1 1/2-2 teaspoons matcha, 3 fl oz water, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla syrup over ice with oatmilk. Refreshing, mellow, and creamy. Get a matcha kit (whisk, bamboo scoop, bowl) the whisk will reduce clumpiness. Worth the small investment in the tools.

First time making my own matcha drinks. I always buy my matcha at cafes. This brand is good, if youPrepare it right. I definitely enjoy with some almond milk. Very green and taste is fresh.

Will cause a headache!
I recently purchased Aiya Matcha and had high hopes based on its reputation. At first, I noticed that it had a smooth flavor without any bitterness or overpowering aftertaste, which was a promising start. However, after a few days of drinking it, I began realizing every time I drank it, I would have a severe headaches.Initially, I thought it was a fluke since my first encounter with aiya matcha a year ago didn't cause any issues. I shared the matcha with a few friends. Remarkably, three out of four of them told me they got headaches too!Not sure if it might be a bad batch or perhaps an issue related to how the green tea is processed, possible pesticide residues. We regularly enjoy matcha without any adverse effects, so this experience was particularly concerning.Unfortunately, based on our collective experiences, I cannot recommend Aiya Matcha or the brand. It’s disheartening that something so well-regarded led to such unexpected reactions. I purchased a ceremonial grade And yes, I did Refrigerator after opening it So that wouldn’t be the issue!

i’m pleased
Very good. Mine just came without the lid so I couldn’t reseal it. Seems like this was a fluke looking at the other reviews. I luckily had a airtight jar to put it in

Usucha, at best.
Save. yourself. Do not use this for koicha. On the other hand, as a thin tea (usucha) with a sweet (higashi), it is okay. It's not the best matcha around, but it's certainly tolerable as usucha. I'm sure it would make a great matcha latte. On the plus side, it is the least expensive matcha I will drink as usucha.
