Fantastic
I am relatively new to Buck. I was loaned the documentary Buck and from then on I was hooked. I believe in working with animals and engaging them through co-operation rather than force. I have been doing it with my dogs for years and was thrilled to now be able to do it with my horse as well.I have been using this with my 12 year old horse whom I have only had for a couple months and now a 5 year old we have for our daughter. They are both responding very well to the training that was on the DVD. It takes patience on my part and also time. Don't expect to watch this once, absorb it and then be a master. I will be re-watching this DVD many many times.I will be getting the rest of the series and am keeping an eye out for Buck to head to Southern California so I can see him in the flesh.I want to learn as much as I can to take my time with my horses to a whole new level. If you have anything to do with horses, buy this DVD. You will not be disappointed and the rewards you will get from interacting with your horses this way will be immeasurable.

Filled in some gaps
I have been able to watch a couple of Buck's clinics in person, and couldn't seem to get the hang of replicating some of the moves at home (especially the half-circles). Unfortunately, my horse seems to think that he gets to control my movements, rather than the other way around. The video really is helpful, especially watching horses and owners with similar challenges. This video has helped me refine of my techniques. This was long overdue, thanks.

Best of Groundwork Info
I volunteer at a horse rescue and found the information in Buck's groundwork DVDs just what I needed to improve my knowledge of groundwork. I want to help rescued horses become great candidates for adoption, and groundwork training is essential in that process.

Sounded like a worthwhile amount of video for the money
Sounded like a lot of video (7 Clinics is a lot of time) for the money but it contained just short clips FROM 7 clinics, very disappointing.

Very informative & lots of demonstrations
I really like these videos. I'm learning how to properly work my horses on the ground and so much of what Buck says makes so much sense. I hope I'm able to take what I have learned and apply it. I want my new horse to be started correctly!

Clear, emotional, geniune, and so much like dancing with a partner - duet with your horse.
I would certainly recommend this DVD to any horse owner. Emphasis on connecting with your horse, and ground work is an important reminder. Also the emphasis on conscience care rather than hurtful demands. So valuable!!!! Time with your horse rather than get on and ride (often badly and injuring producing).

Boring
Too much talking not enough of visual instruction, I like Clinton Anderson, he shows you what he is talking about whild doing it, this guy just rambles on and on with very little sight instruction, NOT worth the money.
