Sturdy. Took a couple hours to assemble.
Before I got this bed for my 5 year old, I read a lot of reviews on this bed and they were mixed. The bed is very sturdy. I did buy a bunkie board just in case. Probably not needed for a child but I would recommend it for a teen or adult. The storage drawers are perfect for sheets and stuffies. Only negative, which is a personal experience, is the headboard is just the right to bang your head on. Otherwise, it’s a great bed.

Went Together Easily
As the title of this review says, the bed went together easily enough with only two comments. The instruction booklet Is much too small for my aged eyes. and this is a two person job. As someone else said; be sure to pay close attention to the orientation of the pieces so that you do not end up disassembling to correct a mistake. I realize space is at a premium and that is probably why the casters are so small, but I would happily tolerate a bed that is an inch higher so that the casters can be a bit beefier and larger diameter. Some others mentioned that the trundle does not roll well on a rug or carpet. This is true and is why larger wheels would be welcome. I too wish the screw heads could be hidden and if it weren't so cold out in my shop right now, I might have taken a forstner bit to the screw holes, making the heads of the screws sub-flush and would have covered the holes with wooden plugs after assembly. This is an ideal bed for visiting grandkids, but mind the weight restrictions. I am not sure the bed would do well with a 200 lb person on it.

You’ll need to add support.
Bed it cute, will work for now. Flimsy, will need an extra support. 1x2 slates are the only support across the bed, under the mattress. We added a sheet of plywood to help.

Perfect for tween/teen
This bed is perfect for any teen or tween! The directions were clear and easy to understand although it did go faster once I started using a drill instead of a screw driver. Took about 4 hours to put together but it is good quality and I definitely recommend.

Difficult to put together. Not sturdy. I question the quality. Screws are exposed. Horrible. Regret this purchase and I bought 2

The screws are visible after assembly
The screws are visible after assembly. There should be some sort of sticker given to hide those screws. Product is overall okay type. Woods are very cheap materials. Plywood of where bed is supposed to go is not densed.
