This is perfect pure henna for hair or skin! Read below please
First off, many people don’t understand henna and have no clue about it so they review incorrectly. This will work for skin or hair if done correctly. Below are a few things to understand.Henna that is pure can one produce one color and that’s a ginger orange to auburn color. This is real henna. The only difference in this and the body one is the sift which won’t matter much. I poured two boxes out one that’s the BAQ and this one. They were the same. You aren’t getting black henna for skin or hair anywhere. It has to be MIXED with indigo. When a company offers many shades of henna it has things added.Next, this is a progressive dye. It takes 3 days to a week to fully darken. You’ll have a light orange stain at first and it will develop into a darker richer stain as the days go. You need to follow directions closely. You need to allow this to SIT AND CURE COVERED BY PLASTIC for 6 hours before you use it. Any pure henna will be the same.If it didn’t work then they probably didn’t make it correctly. People adding lemon OR vinegar and trying to use it as soon as it’s a paste will be dissapointed. If you bought henna that was black or worked right away then it was adulterated. This gave a deep beautiful stain to the skin. My hair went a beautiful natural auburn. I am a natural redhead and I like to deepen the color. Henna looks so natural. I suggest you absolutely coat the whole head after preparing it and letting it sit and then cover the head with plastic and go to sleep in it.You need to wash it out with conditioner and then leave it alone for three days before you wash or use products. This made my hair silky smoothe and soft. This is the best on the market. You need to google what to do and how to prepare to know what you are doing.I only use water with mine and I let it cute for 6 full hours. It’ll change from green to a orange brown and you can save extra for next time or henna glaze.Skin henna is gonna be a pretty orange brown and will be very deep and visible if done right. You can’t be a first timer and guess and then complain on the product.I have used jamila for years and it’s great. This is the same as the other box except it’s sifted a little less which makes no difference IMO and you can sift it again if you want.THIS CANT PRODUCE ANY OTHER STAIN THAN GINGER! Remember to mix with indigo for a darker stain because this is pure. If You want red red you need to add other things. Pure henna is only one color. Most hennas that offer different colors are made with metallic dye and will be damaging.Real pure henna can be coloured over and this is the good stuff.I love it. One box was enough to do my entire head of very thick boob length hair. I showed a measuring cup for reference so you can see how much is in one box. That amount is almost triple when prepared. It should be a paste and should be pudding consistency. I use hot water to prepare and cover with plastic wrap and leave alone for 6 hours until it changes from green to that day old gauc look. Then it’s ready! This stained my hand for two months when I had a hole in the glove I applied it with. It does skin just fine.

I've been using Henna for years!!!!!!
I've been using Henna for over 10years, and it does an amazing job at dying my gray hairs. I use it only to dye my gray hairs. I've heard about Henna years ago on a natural hair forum. It doesn't have any harsh chemicals in it. I love how it is a natural hair dye that doesn't damage my natural hair. It gives my gray hair a nice beautiful reddish tint to it. The outcome is well worth it although it could be kind of messy mixing the henna up. When mixing it up, I just put any cheap conditioner in it like vo5, so it can be less drying to my hair and possibly add a little moisture to it. I also, put a teaspoon of any oil in it, and then mix it with warm water from the faucet. It then becomes a creamy paste like for an example pudding, so it shouldn't be too watery or runny!! I leave the henna on my hair for 2 hours, to give it time to penetrate. I mix the henna powder up the day before I'm going to use it, however, I have used it on my mom's hair on the same day that I had applied it on her hair. I believe the henna last on my hair for at least 2 months until it starts to fade. I wait to do the treatment again every 3 months. Lastly, it strengthens my hair and makes it more healthier and stronger!!

Expires in 4 months?!
The media could not be loaded. First of all, this is my favorite henna brand. I have been buying it for years and you can tell by my fingers in the pictures that is has a beautiful DEEP red stain. But this batch that was sent to me expires in four months?! Meaning, the old bag I bought 3 years ago is technically fresher than this new bag.Expired henna doesn’t produce that super deep red/black stain on your skin. Instead, it produces more of a lack luster, pale orange to light brown color stain. It kinda bums me out. But in the end I can’t complain to much. After all, it was only 8 bucks and some change.P.S. this is my recipe to get that super dark red/black stain. You need:1/4th cup Henna powder1/4th cup Freshly squeezed Myers lemon juice1.5 teaspoons Lavender oil1.5 teaspoons SugarBowl and plastic wrapIn a bowl mix 1/4th cup henna powder with 1/4th cup fresh Myer lemon juice. I dont know why but Myer lemons work better for a darker stain. Mix both lemon juice and henna powder till it resembles the consistency of mashed potatoes. Then add 1.5 teaspoons of sugar and 1.5 teaspoons of lavender oil. Stir till silky. Cover with plastic wrap and let henna paste sit over night under a warm lamp for 24 hours. After 24hours you will see the top layer of your henna turn super dark. Dont worry, that is what you want to happen. That dark layer is the henna ink/stain. When it is done resting, uncover henna, stir it and you are finally ready to go! The stain is soooo dark that sometimes it looks almost black!! keep covered with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator. It will last about a week and a half.Hope this helps!

Works well.
I've been using this brand to color my grey hair for more than ten years. It is better than some of the other brands I've used and it is cheaper.
