Bought this to create a special pasta meal with our daughter coming back in town from the holidays. We watched a YouTube video that gave us all of the insight we needed to make a great pasta meal that was better than what we could have gotten at a restaurant. It was a really fun experience and the cheese was great. We got an 18 pounder! We've got several more fresh pasta meals planned and we'll be using quite a bit of the extra cheese to make some cheese crisps. We're now planning on getting one of these each year around this time.

I got my cheese today and it’s easy to cut and I store it away!THANK YOU SO MUCH!Below was my first review! this time not good! I got a hard hard cheese to cut and it’s supper dry! the center is dry and not flavorful as the first one! I am giving it a 1 star because this cheese is like chewing rubber, I am not able to get a solution with the seller and Amazon is having a hard time finding a solution. I will update my review later but for now, I have requested a replacement or my money back! Thank am very disappointed and frustrated! It’s been over a week with no results yet!it’s addicting, the flavor it’s amazing. I love to zip lock my food and this cheese it’s going to be part of our meals. Amazing, I just wish the price was better, more affordable. Thank you.

This cheese is great. I received it in 5 days and it held up very well.The flavor is amazing for a 12 months age product and I would say it is very very close to the real 24 months product The taste are a little different but for the value this comes very close and is only about $10 a pound versus the real deal which is about $25 a pound.I would recommend this cheese as a daily use cheese you can use it on pasta sandwiches salads basically anything I like to crumble it on steak.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves cheese and anyone looking to get into cheese that tastes great.There is a really cool video about parmesan cheese and how about 90% of it is just fake synthetic stuff. If you've never tried a real cheese wheel I highly recommend it.

I bought one of these in December of 2021 and it was amazing. I flambéed Cognac in it and used it to mix pasta. I kept it successfully until it finally was used up in October 2023. I eagerly bought another one of the same item.... and what a terrible disappointment. It couldn't be more awful. It's tasteless, it's rubbery. Just yuck. I reached out to the seller about this terrible quality before writing this review but received no reply. Its going in the garbage and I'll look elsewhere.

Given as a gift

So it seems like a lot of cheese and it is but we put it in the blender to make Parmesan cheese. I would recommend only using it as a topping because it gets a bit of a rubbery texture when cooked although I'm not sure if that is common for Parmesan cheese

Wonderful

This cheese is amazing and is similar to parmesano reggiano. My first time purchasing this wheel it came late but it was 17 lbs so I couldn't complain. It was nutty, crumbly, and very mild. The second wheel I ordered was 15 lbs and it tasted different! It was a little sharper and you could really taste the milk. The wax rind is NOT edible so don't add it to dishes (not a huge deal if you eat it but it ruins dishes)
