Very effective for solving the floppy Floyd bar problem.
These work great for fixing the issue of inexpensive Floyd roses that use the screw on top. You will have to remove and disassemble the arm area of your Floyd Rose, so there is some mechanic work required. They do work great once installed though and I’m much prefer them to the arm that comes on the Floyd Rose 1000.

A great Floyd Rose wiggle stick, but at a premium.
I know everyone has an opinion about Floyd Rose parts and accessories, and I'm no different. So take this with a grain of salt until you try it on your own.I went looking for a good pop-in Floyd Rose arm for my Charvel after getting tired of the Floyd's threaded collared arm loosening up enough to wobble freely. I have 4 guitars with a Floyd Rose, so I started with the most important one to me. At the time I bought this last year, it was between this arm priced around $50, or the official Floyd Rose arm at $18. Clearly there is a $32 price difference. So I figured if I'm going to do the job, I'm going to DO the job by getting the best part. That's when I decided to buy the Magik-Arm over the official Floyd Rose arm.It arrived in good packaging, and I got to work on the install. I did have to pull out the Floyd to access the nut holding the old arm socket in place, which wasn't a big deal for me. Once I got the new arm installed, I was tickled over how sturdy it was and reliable with arm tension. The arm itself does have markings on it for the brand, and that's not something I often appreciate with installable guitar accessories. But it's on a chrome arm, so markings disappear under stage lights. But the arm fit beautifully and makes the Floyd an even bigger pleasure to use.Adjusting the arm's tension within the socket is easy using an allen key. Once its set, its set. So you can have a little play or a loose wiggle - your choice. Why ding it 1 star? Well, like I said, I have 4 guitars with Floyd Roses. I also opted to buy the official Floyd Rose arm too for a different guitar. It's installation was the same and it's function is practically identical to the Magic-Arm for $32 less. So basically, I can buy almost 3 Floyd Rose arms as compared to the price of this one Magik-Arm. I've had no issues with either across the last year.Long story short, this is a great accessory for a Floyd Rose. It's pricey, but is of high quality. If you're looking for premium, this is it. But if you're looking more for function, the official arm will save you considerable bucks.

Maybe the best bar I’ve had
had my hopes up, but, no go. something plastic is broken inside and the bar wont stay in the socket. Totally useless. Finally after messing with it some plastic fell out and the bar snapped in! But then i pulled the bar out and again it will not snap back in. I guess it would be ok if you don't remove the bar. Definitely not worth the $50 for a "magic Bar". I haven't even installed it (Thankfully). RipoffUpdate: I did send the arm in for replacement, and the new arm works as advertised. I’m just a bit Leary on how long it will hold up. I do like the fact that there is no play what so ever in the arm right now. A real joy to play compare to the original arm. By the way, this unit does fit a Floyd Rose Ghost Bridge.

Amazing upgrade!
After trying an Ibanez edge bridge, I thaught of getting rid of my Floyd rose 2000 - now I don't because of this product. Highly recommend this upgrade.

Still getting a slightly wobbly and slack feel with this arm upgrade
I usually upgrade to the Floyd Rose push-in arm but decided to try out the Red Bishop Magik-Arm on a Les Paul Axcess I just bought. I do like the way the arm snaps into place and build quality looks good, however, still getting a slight wobbly and slack feel when using the arm even with the collar tightened. Slack/wobbly feel is definitely better than the stock screw-in arm that came with the OFR tremolo but not finding it to be much of an improvement compared to the Floyd Rose push-in arm upgrade.

Nice but...
Better than original, but unless you really make the collar snug it will srill have slop. Som if you want if you want the arm to swing freely and have no play, this will not solve the issue. Also could do without the laser etched logo.

Great tremolo arm replacement/upgrade!
I ended up picking this up as a result of me buying an Ibanez az that didn’t come with the tremolo arm. Ibanez was charging $40 for just the bar and there was a 4 month wait. So after looking at some reviews I decided to try this one out. This tremolo bar is fantastic! Works amazing with the gotoh 510/t5102 has no wiggle and feels higher quality then the stock gotoh bar.
