Classic Accessories Heavy-Duty Lawn Tractor Cover, Fits tractors with decks up to 54"

Needed to replace a 5 yr old John Deere cover that became threadbare and disintegrated from the elements. After seeing how much thinner, lighter weight and for lack of a better word, cheapened quality at a higher price the current John Deere brand covers were at the local big box stores and the nearby Deere dealer, I chose "The Classic Accessories Heavy Duty Lawn Tractor Cover". The positive reviews and photos were spot on to say that this is a very good cover.The dark gray material is a flexible heavy weight fabric that beads water. The cover is sized perfectly to fit the John Deere D-series riding mower. The sewn-in handle seams ease handling. The bottom of the cover has sewn-in elastic to maintain a close fit and that is further strengthened by 8 sewn-in adjustable straps w/ easy to use clips. The straps are located at the front, rear and on the sides just inside each wheel. This allows you to fully secure the cover by connecting the strap from the side of the wheel, going behind the wheel to the front or rear strap on the tractor.When new, my original John Deere cover from 5 years ago was good and much better than the thin and high priced version Deere is currently selling. However IMHO better than either Deere version the best buy for both your money and quality features provided is "The Classic Accessories Heavy Duty Lawn Tractor Cover".

Okay so a my first experience with a mower cover was a cover that I bought at a local hardware store called Menards. It honestly seemed like decent material, and I expected it might last a few years. But it only lasted a year and a half. It became incredibly sun-faded, and the material actually begin ripping from the Teague from when the wind blows. The material was like that of a nylon hammock.One of the things about this cover that I both love and hate at the same time are the tie-downs and clips. I absolutely love the fact that you can tie the cover on in a way that makes it so that the wind cannot blow it off. Why do I hate them? Only because you have to bend down and reach your armor on the tire in clip it and it's just the process of bending down is annoying. But if you live in an area or a situation where you don't have to worry about the wind blowing it off, you don't have to clip it.I ordered mine for a Cub Cadet lt1024 with a 50 inch deck on it. It fits absolutely perfectly. I raise the deck up all the way and the cover fully and completely covered every part of the mower including the deck. This cover feels like it's made out of some sort of a heavy canvas nylon, that is rubberized on the inside. This thing feels like it will last for several years. Absolutely love it. I would recommend it to anyone.

Bought a new Cub Cadet XT2 LX46 in September 2022. I always keep mower in my tarp shed. But my old mower would still get dirty in my tarp shed. So I decided to get a cover for my new Cub. Lots of options to choose from. I chose this cover after reading reviews on this one and many others. Can’t speak for the others I read about but I can say that this heavy duty cover by Classic Accessories is indeed a heavy duty cover. It also has straps in the front, center and rear that can be unclipped if you choose not to use them. The elastic gathering cord sewn into the cover around the bottom feels heavy as well. It fits my LX46 absolutely perfectly. It’s nice and taught so it should shed water if you leave it outside. It looks exactly like the picture sitting on my LX46. If you don’t mind spending the extra money (almost double) to get a good quality heavy duty cover, then I would say this cover is the one.

Bought for my Cub Cadet LTX 1040 riding mower. The material is stronger than my original Cub Cadet branded cover that is failing after 10 years in the outdoors. The new cover is heavier and feels like it should last well if it is affected too much by UV out in the sun. Cover is several inches shorter in height than the old one and doesn't reach down around the tires quite as far. Lots of tie down straps that I won't be using. Too much trouble. Maybe good for winter winds though if you need them. Hopefully the elastic in the hem will hold it on tight enough. Only time can tell the long term durability of the cover, but it seems strong very nicely made.

This is our 2nd purchase of this great cover lasting 4 years in our brutal sunny days and rain, snow, wind winters. This new purchase of the larger 82" cover is for our Husqvarna TS354XD (54" deck) which fits great and will relax into its shape after a couple of weeks. We do not use the straps as the heavy duty elastic around the bottom holds it even in those 50 mph gusts. The straps eventually rot in the sun here anyway. Will buy again in 4 years.

The 54" cover fit my John Deere D105 perfectly. We live on the coast and frequently have high winds that last for days. The heavy fabric, strong elastic, and corner straps on this cover would probably endure a category 3 hurricane. I've had 2 John Deere branded covers, they had no corner straps and the thin shock cord stitched into the border wasn't nearly enough to keep them from blowing off. The old covers were faded and starting to shred after a single season. The Classic Accessories cover is almost a year old and still looks new even after being outside the whole time. I'm really pleased with my purchase, it was slightly more expensive than the previous covers but a much better value in the long run.

I was very happy to see that this is a well made and heavy duty this tractor cover. Often a product like this needs to be checked out in person if you really want to know about it. When buying on Amazon that in person product judgement is not available. All you can do is hope the reviews are accurate. While the price of this cover is on the high end, rest assured this is a high end cover. This cover fits my Husqvarna TS254XG perfectly. It has a 54 inch deck and as you can see in the pictures, the grass deflector is up. The cover will not fit completely over the mower deck with the deflector down. I am happy with this purchase.
