HVAC stopped working. Melted wire on the Capacitor.
HVAC stopped working. Took cover off and had found burnt wire and cap tested bad. Bought two, got 2 units. Replaced cap and new wire. Started right up and works great.

Worked great for about 7 months.
Bought this to replace the original capacitor on a 12-13 year old Trane unit. Simple straightforward replacement. Unit ran fine for about 7 months, then the capacitor burned up. I'll look for a different supplier next time.

When it's hot - the fan motor needs to run
I had to configure a mount for the capacitor as it was not the same shape/size as ONE but that's a normal requirement. The capacitor has started.the motors for 3 months now with no problems.

the usual EASY to fix PROBLEM child of ac systems
With 100+ degrees out, it was a Heck of a thing to have go out. After using a voltmeter, my heat pump problem led to a bad capacitor, this one fixed me right up! Only if USPS wouldn't have sent to wrong warehouse, which led to 3 extra days of hot humid SC weather. Ps: buy a spare, its a known fault issue, plus there cheap enough!
