Excellent Product!
One of our three heat pumps stopped cooling on Saturday afternoon. The condenser unit fan was running along with the air handler, but the compressor on the condenser unit was not kicking on. I cut power, checked the capacitor with a meter, and determined it needed replacement. Matched up the capacitor size (30+5 MFD) and ordered this product from Amazon. It arrived on Sunday shortly after noon, and I installed the new capacitor later in the day. Restored power to the unit, which is running great and cooling again. This particular unit is a Bryant 1.5-ton heat pump split system. The new capacitor looks great and well-made, arrived quickly, and is working great. I would recommend it to others. The price is great as well, for under $20. It saved me about $300, which is about what I paid an HVAC company a few years ago to diagnose the problem and replace a capacitor on one of our other heat pumps.

Work the first time every time
Hey if you're smart enough to figure out what these are and where they go. You'll find great relief that they worked right out of the box and have no problem. I did buy this one and another brand so I put the dates on the first one to see how long it lasts. Having this replaced will cost you about $185. They are a little bit dangerous because the way they work so, YouTube the procedure before you just go in and change this out. I'm not electrician and I do not approve this message. But the item did work great

Works as expected on Pentair pool pump
My Pentair 3/4 hp pool pump that was buzzing and not starting. I replaced the start capacitor with this and it fired right up. It has only been a week or so but it has been great.

Fixed an AC on old pop up camper
I bought a used 2001 pop up camper that had a non-working Carrier AC on the roof. This capacitor was an easy replacement. It is a little bit longer than the original so I had to modify the box it was mounted in slightly. Works great now.

Works
The capacitor that my A/C tech installed lasted 17 months. When he installed it, he suggested that I get a capacitor meter and a replacement capacitor so that I could do it again myself if needed. So I bought a meter and this capacitor at that time and today installed it. For those who might want to know, the old capacitor measured 13 ufd rather than the labelled 40 ufd and tripped a compressor failure code in the unit. Also note that the old capacitor sells for $10 elsewhere (not on Amazon). So, kudos to my tech for suggesting how I might deal with this, and oops for putting in a crap capacitor. I hope this replacement works out, although it is only half the price of a USA-made unit. I'll update this review when I see how long this lasts.

Great product!
Newbie to the RV lifestyle, this capacitor made it so easy to replace. The color coding made me very confident in what I was doing along with a few YouTube videos to figure out how to discharge and what the problem was in the first place.Great price and value! Fast delivery!

Replacement for HR cement mixer motor
My cement mixer from HF was running slower and slower to the point I actually had to help it spin which was a little sketchy. Eventually it would barely run at all. Some research online indicated that the motor itself seemed to be pretty good but that the capacitor on the motor seemed sketchy. The capacitor that came on the motor was plastic cased where this one is all metal and seems much more substantial. As with anything electrical make sure the specifications match EXACTLY - not just close. This capacitor did meet the original spec for capacitance and voltage. It is larger than the original one (a good thing IMHO) so I have to get creative with the mounting. At the end of it this capacitor got my HF mixer going again for not a lot of money. Of course perform proper diagnostics to ensure you have identified the fault before throwing parts at the problem.

Easy fix for DIY folks
My AC capacitor went out and rather than call the HVAC guys out who are going to charge you an arm and a leg for this simple repair. This is a DIY fix so long as you're attentive to detail and can follow along with video instructions. Youtube saved me and easy $400 bucks on this repair and I did it in 30 mins.
