Price/performance is same(or even better!) as budget cards, but it's insanely more powerful
Pretty good stuff!Tested stock performance on 3Dmark - bottom 48% - slightly below average across 3080 owners.Overclocked/optimized with curve at +75 at or above 1V and +165 at or below 850mV and the rest of the points set where they are stable in benchmarks -+105 at 950mV+135 at 900mV, etcI arrived at these numbers after I did a bunch of benchmarking, stress testing locking card at each voltage point and testing that separately. And later after solid performance everywhere, but crash in VR adjusted entire curve "-15" for extra stabilityNow my performance is top 10% among other 3080.However after all that I limited power to 85% to save power and reduce heat, increase card longevity. Performance penalty is pretty small - just couple of percent less. Besides I pretty much can play any game locked at my desired 141 fps with g-sync on 1440p screen. Card is a beast and if I was just gaming on a screen I'm not sure I'd get something so massively overpowered. Most games were running just fine at 80+ fps 1440p on my old 2060 and for big chunk of games even 2060 was barely utilized. But for VR and game-dev this 3080 is a game changer! HL:Alyx runs flawlessly now - no hitches, high quality butter smooth 120 fps on quest2.And Unreal engine 5 demos actually work on this hardware! Editor runs fine with massive scenes in ue5 - no more memory issues thanks to 10Gb

I'm Done Waiting! Great Card!
At 37 Years old, I FINALLY decide to build a gaming PC, and what happens!? "THE GREAT GPU SHORTAGE"! I Literally started buying parts over a year ago and I refused to pay scalper prices for a GPU. They finally hit a price I'm willing to pay, and I'm honestly glad I waited.I ended up getting a 5800x3d, which wasn't even out when I started this build and that thing is an absolute gem. I tend to play high FPS games at lower resolution, and I also play minecraft...shhh. both of these situations tend to be more CPU bound from what I know... which isn't that much actually. This gpu does everything I need and then some! I have a 1440 165hz moniter and I'm playing WarZone/BO multiplayer on MAX settings, Ray tracing on, getting 120++fps on 1440 and completely pegged at 144 on my 1080 144hz monitor.Red Dead Redemption 2 looks like a whole new game (I'm coming from a gtx 1060 laptop).Cyberpunk runs solid 120fps at 1440 Almost Max settings. And I finally get to experience high end Minecraft Java Shaders, and my goodness is it glorious.32gb 4000mhz ddr4 ram5800x3d850watt PSMSI B550 Tomahawk

Awesome GPU
I've had this card now for almost 2 months. Had no performance or technical issues at all. I barely hear it running even under load. It did heat up my case way more than my previous 1650 Super but that's because my old case didn't have the best airflow. The card itself did a great job of maintaining a good stable temp.

Fantastic GPU
I upgraded from a 2070 Super and this GPU is doing fantastic so far. I would have gone with the TI version but these outrageous and ridiculous prices for these 30 series cards are getting out of hand. But I digress. I have a good card to last me awhile until I decide to upgrade again to the 5000 series GPUs or the 8000 AMD GPUs we shall see!

Fantastic
Finally gpu prices are acceptable! I have this gpu paired with a Ryzen 9 3900x and 32 gigs of DDr4 ram and it runs everything I throw at it on 2k resolution maxed out graphics at 130-200fps in most games and even in games that are unoptimized cough cough BF2042 it has more than enough power to break down that door!I've experimented with the new Nvidia DSR factors which allows you to scale your resolutions to 2k 4k and even 8k if the system will allow it and they runs perfect I don't do much 4k since 2k looks better but this gpu will handle it no problem!I had a 2080 super and this gpu is a 50% performance boost and is the last gpu my rig can support without bottleneck .Grab this gpu now imo the 4000 series are going to be power hogs and will most likely burn power connectors no matter which set. Atleast for the first year after release.

Monster/Powerhouse of a GPU
I love the card! it shreds every game I throw at it in max settings 60fps 4k, we finally live in a time where we can thoroughly enjoy high resolution gameplay with smooth frame rate. I will say though it gets HOT. I live in florida and its severely turned the temperature up in my room. It feels like a sauna but its worth it for the flaming hot performance. If you want the best look no further unless of course you have 3090 money.

Silent for the games I play.
I was loathe to drop the insane amount of $ for a new card, but my AMD RX580, I thought, was quickly becoming a dinosaur. I thought this card would be a vast improvement, and it is for the most part. None of the games I've played since purchase have caused the fans to spin up and the card doesn't break a sweat. However, it is a PCI-e 4.0 card being used in a 3.0 slot, so it's bottlenecked for now. I had benched the old RX580 in various benchmarking suites, then the RTX3080, and was surprised that the numbers were as close as they were. I'm betting the PCI-e 3.0 is why. Still, even limited at 3.0, a good card so far.

Absolute Beast of a Card
This video card is a beast. The performance is just beyond any adjectives I can toss at it.I upgraded from my trusty GTX 1080. That thig still holds up, and am still very happy with it, as "old" as it is. It held up during the horrific GPU/chip shortage, even after upgrading my entire rig a month or so ago. Just very recently has GPU prices start to fall and go near MSRP and in stock. So I bought this.I cannot be happier. The 40xx series is on the horizon, but I am sure this card will hold up for the next 5 or so years with no issues at all.Pros:* Almost everythingCons:* It is not a 3090Ti.
