Ink dries very quickly and does not smudge. I like these pens a lot.

I love bold writing pens, and saw a recommendation for the Ohto, so I decided to give it a try. It’s a winner! Probably the smoothest and boldest pen experience I’ve found yet!

If you're like me and you like to write with Bold pens, then this is definitely a great pen to order.Pros:-The writing is very smooth, and I have written on a few types of media from sketch paper to notebooks to printer paper.-There are no splotches as you write slowly, and the ink leaves a smooth line that quickly dries so you leave no smudges behind.Cons:-With reference to the red pens...the ink comes out a nice red, however, when the ink dries, the writing lightens a bit. It almost looks like a light red or orange color. It does lighten a bit. (I will try to post a picture if I can get the camera to represent an accurate image).All in all, I do like the pen very much. I'm buying the darker closers of ink (Black and Blue) so that I can continue to use this brand.

I absolutely LOVE these pens-they write thick and bold. Not messy. I don't even want to share them with anyone. I am particular about my pens and ink and these have passed the test. Buy some now!! Wish so much blue ink was available!!
