I have found, on occasions, that is has helped with eliminating heartburn although I don't drink it for medicinal purposes. I always sleep extra well after a mug at night time. I would say it was a comforting and I only buy the variety which says \"add milk\". The one made with water is not such a nice drink. The traditional/ original one, as I would call it, says \"Add Milk\" on the front of the plastic jar. The other type says \"Add water\" on the front. I suppose this is meant to be a healthier option. However this gives a more watery texture and in my opinion is not so nice! I have in error bought the add water one in the past without checking the front of the jar.
