I converted one of my controllers specifically for FPS games. I used this kit and their metal back paddle kit and they’re working great. Hardly any trigger movement makes for quick shots. Keep in mind that the controller really can’t be used for any game that requires a proportional L2/R2 trigger movement like racing games after the mod so I keep one unmodded controller for those. Would buy again if needed.

The media could not be loaded. I have built several ps5 controllers using extremerate. I've never had any issues. Attention to detail is a must. Follow the instructions for the specific model and make sure you know what model you have, bdm-10,20,30,40.

Update after 3 weeks:So the intermittent trigger has completely resolved it's self after use. I guess there is a break in period. I don't know if that will be the case for everyone or if it will be reliable forever. Only time will tell. But it's working flawlessly now.As for the fitment issues that required extensively dremeling and gluing, this could be due to the fact I did not use the original triggers. I used clear triggers made by ExtremeRate. But since the triggers and this trigger kit are both made by the same company I figured they would be compatible.So it's working great now. But it took 6+ hours to assemble and 2+ weeks to break in. So I'm upgrading from 1 to 4 stars.Original review:I have had 3 eXtremeRate products before, including the original dualsense non-micro switch trigger kit, and they were all great so I did not hesitating buying this micro switch trigger kit. But wow is this thing bad. I spent 6+ hours trying and ultimately they only work intermittently.First there is poor fitment between the trigger adaptors (little plastic blocks you stick to the inside of the trigger) and micro switches. The switches were always on. I had to cut away at the inside of the trigger to make space. Then the little plastic blocks kept falling off the trigger. I had to open up the controller each time. Ultimately I glued them in place.Then the adaptors would rub on the inside of the controller casing. I had to dremel away to make clearance.Even after all that the switches are intermittent. You pull the trigger and 25% of the time it doesn't register. Other times you pull the trigger and you get a double fire. There must be some debouncing issue. This is a circuit design problem.So yeah, overall a complete fail and waste of a lot of time. I'm going to have to take my controller apart AGAIN to put it back to the way I had it and hope it still works after all the cutting I did for the clearance issues.

BUYER BEWARE. The ExtremeRate Microswitch version they are selling has no tutorial on YouTube, their site or anywhere else. I have tried the other versions they have and they work fine and they also have walkthroughs, but even on Reddit no one is able to give a solution for the microswitch variant. Save yourself 3 hours and if you decide to buy make sure their is a walkthrough posted beforehand and don’t make the same mistake I did and now have a pulled apart controller you now have to put together again with no actual change. EXTREME RATE get on top of this. Should never have released a product you had absolutely no walkthrough for. No pictures. Nothing. If anyone else has made their own guide or was able to get the plastic pieces to fit properly please let me know!

If you are playing an FPS like MW2, this is a very cheap and outstanding game changer! Buy it now, install only takes about 30 minutes,BUTit will be a lot easier if you have a set of needle nosed pliers, a small pair of sharp nips, and a good set of fine tweezers. If you watch the install video before you buy, which I did not, you'd know this. I did not watch the video but I already had these tools on my work bench so it wasnt a big deal. I just thought this info might help someone in the future. Buy this!

First of let me start of by saying that i have purchased clicky hair triggers for the ps4 controller from extreme rate in the past and never had issues with them, that being said i bought the micro switch clicky hair trigger for the dualsense and loved them however; after about a month and a half after using them l2 and r2 started squeaking and become bad to press. I went and contacted extreme rate on their website and they gave me a full refund the next day. Needles to say i am very impressed with the quality of customer service extreme rate has and for that very reason i am switching my review back to 5 stars.
