I have discovered how good a product this is, particularly as I live in Tenerife, and no-one would consider shipping it. It did, as someone else has said, take four hours to assemble, but is well worth it. I found the item in Belfast furniture store, and found the owner very obliging and helpful, and was willing to ship..in the end I had a friend who was driving over, and he brought it, But the Belfast team were geared up to send it if things went wrong. Some reports talk of the fragility of this item, but I would challenge that, as it is robust and well designed and the instructions were easy to follow. I just wish I had an electric screwdriver, as there are lots of screws---thats why it has taken me so long to reply..my wrist was killing me the next day or two..but the product looks and performs great...and thanks to Belfast furniture store for the price, and most of all the service

So pleased with this dressing table although I'm using it as a sewing table for my sewing machine and the drawers are perfect for my materials, threads, scissors etc.Very easy to assemble, less than an hour, sturdy, lovely colour on the wood, I decided not to coat it though you could if you wanted, so lovely having responsibly sourced real wood not MDF or chipboard covered with laminate. Excellent value for money. Slowly beginning to change all my old MFI furniture from the 80's with this brand makes such a difference to the look of the house.

This is a 1st class piece of flat pack furniture, in particular it is solid wood. The only problem I had was that I was two 30mm screws short and two 25mm screws extra but I had a couple of my own 30mm screws to replace the two that were missing. I was impressed with how well everything fitted together so precisely. Someone criticised the lack of depth in the pilot holes for the drawer runners but they are marker points and it is probably wise to deepen with a sharp tool like a bradawl or gimlet, NOT a drill because you may drill all the way through the wood by mistake. I supplemented the assembly by adding wood glue to the wooden dowels and edges. There are some very shoddy flat pack desks out there but not this one, I would definitely recommend this desk, which was bought for use as a sewing table.

Fiddly to put together, the holes are not lined up well. It’s pretty flimsy but it fits the space intended for a reasonable price. It looks nice and will do until I can afford to replace it with something more solid.
