Foreign exchange student approved
Our exchange student from Germany fell in love with this ramen. Got him a case and it looks like I'll need to get a 2nd case soon.

On its own it's okay
On its own it's okay, but with chili crisp it's DA BOMB. Highly recommend adding your favorite chili crisp to it.

Flavor needs improvement
I like the concept but I just didn't find this appetizing, although the regular flavor Chow Mein is much better.

Ramen packages are not the healthiest in the world, and this ramen/Japanese-style noodles is no exception. One package (considered one serving) has 460 calories, 20g fat (10 of which is saturated fat), and 1000mg sodium. You know it has carbs...58g carbs to be exact...with 2g of added sugars (total sugar 5g, dietary fiber 6g). The good thing is, it has 10g of protein. All that said, I have to say that I would never eat all of this at one sitting. It's a lot of ramen. I made it in a skillet, as directed, and it turned out delicious. The sriracha sauce packet does not make it wickedly hot like some other hot ramens I've tried, and it has a good flavor with just the right amount of bite. I don't like the fact that it's got artificial coloring; the color of the noodles winds up being a kind of neon orange that I don't find appetizing in the least. The way I plan to use these noodles is sparingly, with fresh stir-fried veggies in at least a 2:1 ratio with the noodles. The two of us will get at least two full meals out of one of these packets doing it this way, with some left over for our little dogs to sample. (The first batch I made, I gave them each some and it disappeared in seconds. Not very healthy for them, either, but they were so excited.)After cooking, I like to cut the noodles into smaller pieces and then mix in the veggies and/or meat. I haven't done it yet, put I plan to try making some cold noodle salads with them. The sauce soaks fully into the noodles and so will hold the flavor inside well. I had some left over from a batch I made that I scrambled some eggs into and cooked as patties in my little egg sandwich maker, and they turned out great. They definitely beg for scallions, though. Or chives.
