SuperMoss (25325) Forest Moss Preserved, Fresh Green, 3 Pounds

A very LARGE box of moss! It is natural, dried...as in, there is some dirt and variation in texture and color. I brought a tarp to the venue to catch the pieces that came apart while I was building centerpieces and that worked perfectly.Some sections are flatter than others, but "fluffed" nicely...you could use in flat applications or in a more bunched/fluffed grouping. We did 50 or so round tables and only used about 1/2 the box...if I'd have realized how far it would stretch, I would have used more per table! (We were running out of time and energy). The centerpieces looked great and the moss was a perfect touch!Moss comes in large plastic bag inside cardboard box.Would buy again.

It’s definitely packed full. It’s not very lose but you can break it up and mold it to your liking. I made about 4 feet long center pieces (7 of them) and it wa snore than enough, I still had about half left over. It had some twigs which I didn’t mind but it did bring some bugs like some tiny spiders but not a lot. Doesn’t smell bad or anything. Perfect for DIYs. The color looked vibrant but also natural. Overall It’s a great buy, the money is worth it and quality is great.

I use this moss all the time for my home staging business. The first time I bought it one of my helpers took it all out of the box and put it in an open container. The moss gradually turned brown over the course of six months. If you are not going to use it all at once, I recommend keeping the box tightly closed. I started putting it into resealable bags to take with us to job sites and it stays green that way.

I bought two boxes of this moss in two Amazon orders a few days apart. When each arrived I opened the box to make sure there was something inside and that it was green, then set the in the garage until I got to my project. I used the first box, stuffed with beautiful real moss that seemingly had roots and everything. Perfect for my planter. When I opened the second box it was a different kind of moss - kind of like a Spanish moss that was dyed green. No roots. That was disappointing, but I used it anyway because I was mid project. So beware there are different kinds of moss out there. Does the finished product look great? Yes, exactly what I envisioned. Would I buy this again? Yes, this was a good find for large quantities of sheet moss. When I look at how each type works in the project I can’t say which is better. The moss with roots might have more longevity and I might get two years out of it, as opposed to the other. Next time I might just look more carefully upon receipt and return and reorder to make sure I get the same kind - whichever holds up best after this growing season.

Used this for my centerpieces for my wedding. It was great. Huge box packed full. A good amount of sticks which was a little annoying but I had enough to do 12 centerpieces and still have about 1/4 of the box left. Definitely worked for what I needed! Only downside was it’s super messy (but what do you expect) and the smell was wicked (like fishy/low tide) in the beginning until it aired out a little.

i have a bay garden window in my bathroom and instead of wood trim on the ledge and trim i used construction glue and flag stone. the bottom of the window is metal and it needed something to jazz it up and the sheet moss is perfect. with the stone and the moss and the house plants i have in the window it is like a little slice of forest!! the moss i have in there now is old, dusty, and faded and this moss will replace it beautifully. the moss is surprising easy to keep clean. i just use the duster attachment on the vacuum and pounce it up and down lightly. it works very well. the other thing i do with the sheet moss is use hot glue and attach it to clay flower pots. sheet moss is great for decorating!!! i really like the moss you sent me. it is taller than the moss i have now and sooooo green. (not a fakey green......a natural looking green) thanks so much!!

This is the second box of this moss I have purchased. The first box was phenomenal; lush, robust moss. This second box is garbage; dry, dusty crumbles of dirt with minuscule particles of yellowed “moss” sprinkled in. It’s really more a box of dirt and dust than moss. I can’t even really use any of it to fill in my planters because the dusty mess just falls to the bottom of the pot. Such a disappointment for something not inexpensive. And pretty much impossible to return. Sad.

When I first opened the box, I was incredibly pleased with what I saw. Lush green moss. The disappointment came when it was only the top layer that was lush. The rest was a sick green and brown. I sprayed it with water to avoid all the shedding while working with it and to my dismay, green dye was present on the paper towel.
