Thoughtful.
A Couple with Deaf Children. If that's not enough there are some Strange Beasties on the Prowl. No Mention of where the Beasties may Hail from. The Beasties reminded me of a Shaved Meghan Markle. Or maybe it's just me.After Re watching I Have Noticed Subtle Details in the Soundtrack. Different Background noise for Different Children in the various Shots. I Suppose they have different sounds in their Heads????I think the new M. Night Shaymalan has just Emerged?I run 7.1 perhaps it's time for some Height Speakers?

Suspense from start to finish can not wait for the follow on
Well acted by an English actress. Interesting twist on how to adapt at being quiet in a alien world.None of this American super hero stuff.I hope the flow up will be as good.

A Quiet Place - Blu-ray
Well made and satisfying horror thriller with a neat concept that doesn’t drag itself out, creating a tight and effective 90 minute experience.Set a little bit in the future after alien creatures have arrived on Earth who hunt using sound one family (led by John Krazinski and Emily Blunt) exists on a rural farmhouse trying to avoid making any noise which could attract attention.Doubling as director, Krazinski fashions an effective thriller, using tried and tested techniques (such as not revealing the full appearance of the creatures until well into the film to keep your imagination working) alongside effective sound design during his set pieces to keep the audience on edge. More importantly though, he makes the family at the heart of the story feel real and dimensional. Meaning when characters are facing off against their enemies and the film reaches its finale, you actually care what happens to whom.Extras are a little underwhelming. Three featurettes covering the creation of the film, the sound design and the visual effects running a little over 30 mins.

Is There Anybody Out There
I thoroughly enjoyed this little thriller. Good story, good direction and great acting. Note I said THRILLER, whilst there were a couple of moments of genuine scariness and shock it is definitely not within the horror genre as I had been "led to believe."Frightening in threat and an edge-of-the-seat watch.

Brilliant
Watch this film in silence for full effect. I compare this film with Ridley Scotts Alien for the tension and clever effects, keeping the creatures mostly hidden for long periods. Brilliantly acted, brilliantly suspenseful, in fact just brilliant.
