Dave Pelzer Set 4 Books. A Man Named Dave, A Child Called It, The Lost Boy, The Privilege of Youth Unknown Binding – January 1, 9999

This series of books was suggested by a group of young ladies I work with. They were very helpful in my work and have been donated to their library so more of them can now learn from them. Mr. Pelzer did a great favor for a large number of young ladies. I will be purchasing more of these books. I can't say. I enjoyed reading these books but I will say I couldn't put them down. They are fantastic for the girls. Thank you for the education I received from them.

Mr. Pelzer’s books are a prize to be had. These books should be read by everybody. So many times I had to put the books down and just weep when I read the things he went through as just a young boy. I still find myself amazed that he survived, let alone become such a well-balanced person. His life is proof that you can overcome any obstacle that you have to face in life. Dave, you are an inspiration to all.

Amazing story of a little boy who endured the worst child abuse from his mother. Never knew why he was suddenly the outcast of his family. How he endured and finally was rescued and started his new life in the foster care system and into the Air Force once he turned 18. Can't stop reading.

This series of books is totally amazing! It's heart wrenching, have your kleenex ready, but it really gives you a good understanding of what foster kids go through!

1st book Easy to read for my 13 yr old granddaughter who loves to read. Somewhat sad in the first book but was told it gets better after book 1 of 4 .

Best story of triumph and bravery that I have ever read. If you read this book be prepared to feel with him as he takes you on his journey.
